College freshman Sverre Walker is just an ordinary guy trying to blend in during his first semester. Until the night he's attacked by Jessica, an agent for an ancient organization devoted to eliminating werewolves, vampires and other supernatural threats. Sverre learns from Jessica that he's not quite human.
Now, Sverre has a choice - either work for Jessica's organization or…well, the alternatives aren’t great. If that wasn't enough, the paranormal creatures of the Underworld have plans for him as well.
Sverre’s abilities could be the deciding factor in the epic war between human civilization and the creatures of darkness.

About the Warrior of Souls' world: it takes place in a fierce environment where secret government agencies battle supernatural creatures. The humans are armed with highly advanced weaponry, powers like chi manipulation, telekinesis/pyrokinesis, genetic manipulation, telepathy, magic, robotics, A.I. and advanced armor and vehicles. The paranormal are packing abilities such as rapid regeneration, mind control, eternal life, untold strength and durability, blinding speed and any number of other supernatural skills. Vampires, werewolves, poltergeists, demons and other creatures roam the shadows. But all is not as it seems. Good and evil are not so easily defined in this universe.
The stories are heavy on action, combat, and horror elements, mixed with humor and infrequent adult situations that are light on details. As some reviews suggest, I'd classify this world as paranormal superhero. No one wears capes or their underwear on the outside of their clothes, but most everyone has deadly powers and skills of some kind. If you enjoy comic books, movies or programs like Hellboy, Buffy, Underworld, Evil Dead, Army of Darkness, Bleach, and Van Helsing, then you should feel at home in Warrior of Souls' world.
